The Most Popular Attractive Destination of Indonesia: Kuta Travel Guide

Probably the largest tourist resort in Indonesia, Kuta sits on the southern end of Bali, nestled in the shadows of the island and providing visitors with over five kilometers of pristine white beaches with some of the best surfing spots on the planet. Originally known as one of the three “Ks” back in the latter part of the 20th century Katmandu, Khao San, and Kuta the area has transformed out of its legendary backpacking status and into the 21st century as a mecca for the party animals of the world. 

Despite the bombings in 2002 and 2005, the area has remained a prominent tourist destination. Main airport, surfing and nightlife are the primary reasons that the modern traveler comes here for, but beach is not really for swimming due to the rip currents and few small dirty rivers coming in the sea. 

That story is very nice, but now days Kuta is a pimple on the beautiful face of Bali. Disgusting town best described as tourist trap where everyone is trying to rip you off. Definitely NOT a backpacking destination and as a tourist you can only enjoy if you are in surrounding towns or resorts.
